Glastonbury Festival has been run bySomerset farmer Michael Eavis since 1970, and he continues to run it with massive enthusiasm. It takes place every year on the last weekend of June. This is the mother of all festivals, it is the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world. The festival is best known for its contemporary music but also features dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret and many other arts. You are the journalists chosen by the organization to interview some artists in the 2009 edition.

You have to interview a famous artist. You have to find out ten pieces of information concerning this person. Wake Up! (a video magazine of British pop music) will broadcast your interview.

● Roles:
- You have to work in pairs: one is the journalist and the other is the famous singer.
- There is also a person in charge of decorating the studio to record the interviews.
● Steps:
- In the studio:
1. Choose the famous person.
2. Decide who is the journalist and who is the singer.
3. The decorator has to think about the design of the logo to adorn the studio during the interviews.
- In the computer room:

How old is he/she?
Where does he/she live?
Does he/she have a family? (Is he/she married?
How many sisters or brothers does he/she have?)
How did he/she become famous?
What is the most important moment in his/her career?
5. Now write five other questions that you would like to ask this person and answer them.

6. Use the information gathered to prepare a dialogue. The journalist has to ask the questions and the singer has to answer (possibly without reading). Try to do it in an original way!!!
7. Present the dialogue to the audience.
